Isaiah's Story

My passion is basketball. I look at basketball as an outlet for emotions. Basketball is there when I'm happy and when I'm sad. Its always there when I'm in need to get lightened up, or for just a fun workout. When I step on the basketball court, I am equal with everyone. There's no popularity contest or anyone judging you. You just play, and that's it. I have cultivated a love for the sport and have gotten much better at it. I just want to keep playing.

Chelsea Piers Basketball Camp would help me by making me a better basketball player. I want to play college basketball soon, and this program would definitely help me improve. Currently, I am playing Varsity for my high school basketball team. My goal is to be higher in the rotation. This basketball program will help me do that and assure great things for my future.

Isaiah is a good candidate for the Chelsea Piers Basketball Camp because of his passion for the sport. Basketball is more than just a game to him. When Isaiah steps onto the court, nothing else matters. Isaiah is able to leave his worries, struggles, and fears at the baseline and just be in the moment. The Chelsea Piers Basketball Camp will give Isaiah the opportunity he wants and needs. Being exposed to more coaches and players of higher skill levels will help Isaiah improve his basketball IQ and skills and mature as a player. This would truly be an experience he will never forget.
