My passion is Acting.
One day in a ballet class my teacher told me that I would never be a ballerina because my legs were too short and I was too "chunky". I ended up going home early and crying. The next day my drama teacher announced a play, and I tried out for role of lion in the "Wizard of Oz." When I found out I got the part I was elated, Performing that play piqued my interest in drama. I started taking drama classes and went to a performing arts high school. Getting the lion in the "Wizard of Oz" really gave me confidence. It is the main reason why I love drama so much. It is more than a passion for me it is a way of life.
Attending Ithaca: Acting will really help me elevate my talent. I will be able to explore new techniques in the company of other artists who love the art of drama just as much as I do. I will get to experience being around people who have different experience in the art of drama.

Going to Ithaca was the best thing I've done all summer. I was able to expand my horizons and be pushed further than I've been. I was pulled out of my comfort zone and force to open up and meet people. I have a better understanding of who I am and what I would like to do with my life. I have had the pleasure to make great friends. All of this was possible because of you thank you so much, words can not describe my graciousness.
Packed and ready to go, I've never been more grateful. I'm so excited to learn and socialize with people who share my passion.
