My passion is medicine.
As a young child, I enjoyed many things that had to do with medicine. I have always liked to challenge myself, and going into medicine is not going to be easy. Lastly, have always wanted to make a change in the world, I want to help find the cure for cancer. In my family, we have lost many people to the disease, so i know how it feels to have a love one taken away from you.
Attending NSLC Medicine and Healthcare will help pursue my passion for medicine by showing me what it takes to be a doctor. This will make my passion stronger because it will be an experience that I've never had.
Angelina is concerned about grades but loves learning more and is always working to getting better at whatever her interests are. She is not afraid of taking on challenges and is always willing to try new things. She is excelling academically and still has time to participate in soccer, softball Art Club Girl Scouts and she is a member of a bowling league. I am sure she will pursue her interests in a medical career with the same enthusiasm she shows in all she takes on.
To everyone who has donated, I thank you because without you I wouldn't have the opportunity to attend the NSLC program in Washington DC. Thank you for getting me this chance, you won't be disappointed.

Congratulations on being selected to join the NSLC program!! I was fortunate enough to participate in NSLC and NYLC when I was in high school and I had a fantastic time at both conferences. The second time was at American University and I fell in love with the campus and D.C. I ended up applying and graduating from American and I credit NSLC for helping me find my alma mater! I hope you get to go on this adventure!
