Dear Donors,

I really appreciate your kindness towards me. I do not think that I could have even gone to Academy of Art University in San Francisco. I have learned so much in my photography class. I feel like I have grown so much in my photography skills. I started off having problems with how to focus the camera on the exact spot that I wanted. But throughout the classes I have learned that the camera does not control itself I control the camera. So, I started playing around with the different buttons that there was on the camera and I learned how to keep the camera focused on what I wanted. Something else that I have learned is that not everyone is going to understand why I took a certain picture so I have to show it in the picture in some way. It was difficult trying to figure out things that I wanted to take a picture of but eventually I did find many things when I was just letting my mind go on its own. Once again I feel very grateful for the donations that I have gotten for the Academy of Arts in San Francisco it really meant a lot to me because I got to go and meet new people from different parts of the world and I got to get out of my comfort zone by making new friends that have the same interest as I do. I have also gotten out of my comfort zone by exploring different lighting in my pictures I have never done something like that and I feel like that opened up my mind more and i feel like when a photographer takes a picture with different types of color bouncing off of buildings or walls it makes me think what they were trying to do and why they chose those colors and what the colors have to do with what the model is feeling. I honestly can not say this enough, thank you so much for giving me this opportunity.
