My passion is science.
The reason for me having a passion in science is that as a younger kid I loved watching Back to the Future. I was always fascinated with flying cars, hover boards, self laced shoes, and how things happened. I feel science can explain the answer to unsolved questions that have came forth throughout history, and that science can help us revolutionize the world.
Attending Explore Engineering at the University of Connecticut will allow me to experience the hard work that is done by professionals in my future field of study. This program will help me have a better understanding of each type of engineering and help me narrow down which field I want to pursue as a career.
"Explore Engineering at the University of Connecticut is targeted for students who want to explore the wonderful world of engineering. A program of this magnitude will nurture Jordan's curiosity for the field by offering him hands on experience with students from all over the country.
Having a Jamaican-American background, Jordan will bring diversity into the classroom intellectually and culturally. Jordan is caring, team player, and most importantly genuine. He is outspoken, asks questions, and is not afraid of being wrong."
Keep after it, Jordan!
