I discovered my passion for basketball when I first picked up a basketball and took a shot. I remember this was when I was 11 and I have liked playing basketball ever since. One day my middle school had tryouts, and I decided to go and try out.
Now I am a freshman in the starting five for JV and coming off the bench for Varsity. I find this very exciting for me because I thought I would never be a freshman playing JV and Varsity basketball.
Attending US Sports Nike Basketball Camps will help me pursue my passion for basketball because I feel like me attending this camp will help me with my basketball career. I think this will help me with my basketball career because there's going to be coaches, and college scouts.This camp will help me with my basketball skills and my attitude on the basketball court and how I can be a leader on the court.
Participation in the US Sports Nike Basketball Camps will serve Chris well not only as a high school student-athlete, but also as a young adult pursuing post-secondary options in education and career. As an athlete, Chris will receive skill-refining attention from the professional staff of the sports camp, as well as collaboration-building opportunities by interacting with other participants. The ability to develop strong inter-personal skills both on and off the court will strengthen Chris' athletic abilities and character, and allow Chris to present himself as a strong candidate for college admission and professional life.
