My passion is helping mothers.
I loved helping my mom when she was pregnant and after she was pregnant. That was a new and impactful experience to me. That lead me to want to help other mothers. I discovered this passion this past summer when I was at Academic Summer Advancement Program at College Track. During this program we were assigned with researching our passions and what made us happy. This when I discovered a career called being an obstetrician. An obstetrician is a doctor who is specializes in childbirth and caring for and treating pregnant women.
Attending National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine will help me get more in-depth information on being a doctor. If I'm going to be a obstetrician, I will need to learn about medicine, and if I'm able to go to this program I will have a better understanding of medicine. It will also give me a chance to meet other youths with similar interests and help me to network within that community. It will also shows colleges and universities my interest in medicine, helping me to gain experience for opportunities in the future.
Evelyn is a great candidate for the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine because she is a talented scientist and mathematician, has a passionate interest in health care, and will excel in any opportunity to participate in the field. The Forum will introduce her to hands-on medical practice, provide her knowledge and skills that she can utilize in future opportunities, and help her to build a network and community of youth with similar interests. I believe that the program will positively impact her confidence and excite her to continue her pursuit of the medical field.
