Jacqueline's Story

My passion is cheerleading.

Cheerleading became my passion when I first watched the movie "Bring It On." I saw how happy everybody was, and I really love being surrounded with positive energy. I realized I'm very energetic and spirited, so I decided to do cheerleading. It turns out I really love doing something I love while supporting people at the same time.

Attending the UCA Cheer Summer Camp will help me develop my passion by teaching me new techniques. I'm really good at taking constructive criticism because I know it only makes me better. Overall, I feel that I will be able to learn a lot from the experience.

"Jacky is a hard working cheerleader. She is always coming to practice with a big smile on her face, ready to learn cheers or dances. Jacky shows leadership qualities when she is at practice, and I can always count on her to get the team ready for warm ups and to get in lines when the game is about to start. Jacky also loves to help all of the other teammates on the team when they are struggling with a new piece that we just learned at practice.

Jacky would is a good candidate for UCA Cheer Summer Camp because attending will help her broaden her range of skills. She would be able to improve her stunting as a back and learn more elite stunts."

Cheer camp experience

My cheer camp experience was amazing. During this program, I got to meet a lot of other great cheer teams who I was able to share the experience with. The first day of cheer camp was amazing because right away we played many games. After everybody was situated, we got started and met the UCA cheer camp staff. The UCA staff laid down the rules so we could have a fun and safe experience at UCA cheer camp. Once we were told the rules, we got started on learning new cheers for when we go back home. I learned many new ways to stunt safely, and we all worked together. The food there was amazing, but I tried pacing myself so I could be good for day two. Throughout the whole four days, I had an amazing experience and learned different cheer techniques. I'm glad I got to experience this amazing journey.

On my way to an amazing experience at cheer camp

The day I start cheer camp is getting closer day by day. I can't wait to experience this amazing adventure, I have so many new skills to learn so it can make me a better cheerleader. I've been curious about what I'll get to learn during this trip, and I know I'm going to have fun with all my cheer mates along the way. I would like to thank my supporters once again for giving me this opportunity.
