My experience at the NYLF Medicine Program this summer was outstanding. Not only did I meet scholars from all around the world, but I gained a better understanding of the medical field, in which will help me but much more successful in the future. I learned to take blood pressure, CPR (and was certified), how to proceed an eye examination, emergency procedures, how to sew skin, about organ donations, autopsy, and much more. The learning environment was fun, engaging, educational, exiting, challenging, safe, and optimistic. I had the opportunity to engage in hands on activities procedures with medicine, which was amazing. In addition, I met many doctors with different specialties in the medical field, such as optometrists, surgeons, therapists, nurses, physicians, and was given the opportunity to ask them questions during panel interviews. One of my favorite speakers was Doctor Sue Carlisle, who inspired the youth to never give up and to always follow their dreams. All of these speaker doctors inspired me to have an optimistic future, to be aware of the challenges I will face later in life, and to work hard for what I want. I really loved how all of the students who attended are concerned about their future, and that like me...are trying to build a foundation for a brighter future within our academic lives. This experience will be an unforgettable one. I cannot wait to apply these skills to my everyday tasks and to share with my friends about this experience. This was all thanks to Wishbone and College Track that I managed to take a step further into a better future!

I am very exited to attend the Envision NYLF Medicine Program this summer! It was thanks to you that made this opportunity possible for me. With this program, I hope to dive deeper into the medicine field and create an unforgettable experience. I await to share my passion with other scholars and gain a better understanding of medicine basics.
