I discovered my love for soccer when I was about 8 years old. My parents really wanted me to get into sports. I began playing for the East Hartford Soccer Club and I ended up creating a passion for it. I wasn't the best when I started and I was very scared of the ball. As time progressed I started to learn more about the game and improved my technical and aggressive skills. I started playing travel with the older girls at 11 playing for U-17 and U-18. Over time, playing with these girls helped me discover a sense of teamwork and taught me not to give up. Due to this, my passion for soccer developed more and more every time I stepped onto that field.
Kamilah is an excellent candidate for the US Sports Nike Soccer Camps. This opportunity would allow for specialized instruction from some of the best coaches and players around, giving Kamliah a different perspective on the game itself.
I’m very thankful that I have been fully funded for this Great Opportunity!! A big thanks to my friends and family that have donated to make this happen!! A bigger thanks to my coach for always believing in me. I can’t wait to go off to the US Nike Soccer Camp. I get the opportunity to meet new people and new moves!
