My passion is politics.
The world is evolving and there are hundreds of struggles that have to be faced. So many people suffer everyday and sadly, they are not always represented. I want to do my best to help, so I want to pursue a career in politics. I want to be the driving force needed to ensure that aid is given to those in need.
A successful career in politics is my long term goal. Going to college is an essential ingredient to my success. The Harvard Pre-College program will supply me with the college experience that most students are not fortunate enough to have. The wide array of courses to choose from and the instruction from the experts in their field will help me reach my long term goal. The weeks spent at this university will also provide me with a unique experience at my dream university.

Jose excels academically across disciplines, earning a 4.0 GPA. Furthermore, Jose supplements his classroom experiences with enriching opportunities that support his love for interdisciplinary studies. Jose recently completed a college credited First Year Seminar course and is slated to completed an Introduction to Psychology course through Bronx Community College this spring. Jose will immensely benefit from the program because of the academic focus, collaborative opportunities, and priceless experience on Harvard's campus."
I'd first like to begin by apologizing for the delay in my update. I recently spent some time in the hospital and was unable to respond. I'm fine and healing well, though!
The most exciting and enjoyable thing about Harvard Pre-College was making new friends! Along with my five roommates, I was able to connect with my dozen or so classmates. Each of us came from very different backgrounds and it was amazing to connect with them. I'm happy to say I've stayed in contact with them, too!
The class, despite being challenging, was also very helpful. When given problems, we were not given a specific way to solve a problem, but encouraged to find very new ways. This allowed us to band together and grow closer, while also learning more and improving upon each other.
The experience at Harvard's Pre-College program was one of a lifetime, and not one I will ever forget. I'd like to thank you all for contributing and I hope you all understand how grateful I am.
I'd like you thank all of you for donating and making one of my oldest dreams come true. I've always wanted to go to Harvard and now that I can, I can't express how exciting nor how grateful I am.
I'll be heading to Harvard for two weeks over the summer and taking a course. I'll be sure to update all of you and take pictures when I arrive.
Harvard has and always will be my dream school. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for this fantastic opportunity.
