Liliany's Story

My passion is helping other people feel happy.

I like to make people happy. Through talking with people in my community and giving advice, I have found that I am able to make people feel better. The first time that I remember giving advice to a friend was in 6th grade. From then on, I have always remembered helping my friends and peers.

Since my passion is making other people feel happy and comfortable, I am very interested in psychology and sociology. Studying sociology at UConn will allow me to learn more about this field of study. Since I am going to be a senior next year, this summer would be an incredible time for me to learn more about my passion of making people happy through the lens of psychology.
