My passion is 3D Modeling.
Since I was a child, I have been passionate about modeling/animation. I always found it absolutely fascinating how 3D artists could make an array of shows, movies and video games from pure ingenuity. My true passion for 3D modeling sprouted when I entered high school. Having started freshman year with the intro course, I fell in love with the whole process of creating characters from my mind. As of now, I have taken a year of intro to animation, a year of advanced animation, and I am in the two year process of independent studies in the advanced course. I have become adept with Lightwave Moddler and Layout and I have made multiple characters, scenes, and objects, all of which I enjoyed creating. 3D Modeling is a passion I hold near and dear to my heart.
Will is an ideal candidate for UConn's Pre-College Summer Program because he will treasure the additional learning that will occur and use it throughout his life. I have seen first hand how he has overcome some serious challenges in his life. He remains driven and focused regardless of the external issues that impact his life. Will is always respectful and helpful to our staff and his peers. He frequently presents new topics he has researched to the class and then assists students that may be struggling with a project. I feel you would be hard pressed to find an individual who has overcome more and maintained a positive outlook and approach. If given this opportunity I can assure you the folks at UConn will be impressed with him.
Thanks to Wishbone and all my donors I will be attending the
Digital Media UCONN Pre-College course to study game design and animation. This will aide me in my endeavors to become an animator. I sincerely thank all who contributed to this astounding privilege bestowed on me and I will cherish it forever.
