My passion is fashion.
I developed my passion for fashion a couple of years ago. I love to look at the fashion that is in-style each season, and try to replicate the styles with my own spin. Getting the opportunity to attend the FIDM 3 Days of Fashion program will give me the opportunity to learn more about the fashion industry so I can decide on my future college major.
Amanda is an excellent candidate for FIDM 3 Days of Fashion program because of her natural interest in fashion. Amanda has expressed that she has always enjoyed learning about fashion, but our school doesn't offer many opportunities for her to learn about fashion. Amanda has an outstanding learning orientation. It is clear that Amanda practices the habits of a lifelong learner. She views all challenges as opportunities to learn and feedback – even negative feedback – as important information to improve upon.
After attending my program, FIDM 3 Days of Fashion, I felt blessed on having the opportunity to attend thanks to the help of all my donors. The 3 days of my program were amazing and I learned new things everyday not only about fashion but about me and new friends I made along the way. My favorite activity was draping a dress from scratch and drawing the 9 head figure. These two activities were the activities I was scared of the most but the teachers explained everything step by step and made me feel comfortable trying new things. This experience is one I will always remember thanks to everyone who helped me achieve my goal.
Thanks to the help of my donors I will be participating in the FIDM 3 Days of Fashion program. I am thrilled to enter the doors of this fashion atmosphere and learn skills of the industry in which I have a passion for. In my school we dont have the opportunity to learn about trending clothes or marketing, which I will hopefully learn in this program. I'm expecting the best experience in the city of San Francisco with my program and maybe new friendships with other students who attend. I can't thank you enough and I'll make sure to learn and enjoy myself with all things fashion.
