Brandon's Story

My passion is soccer.

At the age of seven, I had first started playing soccer. My father was a soccer player back in his prime days, and I had always admired him. You can say my dad had influenced my decision to play soccer. Soccer has helped shape me into the person I am today. It is soccer which has given me new and exciting opportunities. I have been blessed to travel to new places and meet new people along the way. Soccer is not a sport but my life. Everyday I train and work hard to one day to accomplish my dreams. I remember something a coach had said to me which has stuck with me ever since, "If you're not getting better, you're getting worst." I take this to heart. I want to make all my hard work worth it one day.

By attending US Sports Nike Soccer Camps, I hope to experience something new which only soccer can give me. I plan to learn and take advantage of this opportunity. It is exciting to try new things and going to this camp will only fuel this passion. I learn from these experiences as a player and reflect on how I can get better from them. Anything which can help me grow as an athlete and person, I am willing to do. I want to get better, and I know that attending this camp will help me achieve that.
