My passion is football.
In teams I've always tried to contribute as much as I could to the group. Also, my family and cousins see me as a role model because of all of the effort I put into my work. The same goes for football. In school I always try to take on leadership opportunities. I feel that serving as a strong role model is helping my community at school and home to become stronger and more positive. I hope this will all come together to allow me to be a leader on the football field, in college and eventually my career. I would like to come back to Brooklyn and show others the possibilities that exist for them.
Anderson is a student who pursues excellence. Though a teenager, he is already grounded in a sense of conviction and purpose, fully aware that self-discipline will get him there. Anderson has told me about his camp experiences prior---local opportunities to see law enforcement in action and learn everything there is to know about his career field of interest. Despite limited resources, Anderson pursues all learning opportunities possible, asking questions of his family friends and relatives (such as his uncle) to ground himself further in this future career. Though I only met Anderson in September, it has been amazing to watch him continue to pursue his interests as a student genuinely eager and excited to learn.
Thank you for helping support me in my goal of of attending US Sports Football Camp. I am excited to grow as an athlete and develop with relationships with other high school students. I believe the discipline I develop on the field will only continue to help me in my daily life.
