Inspired by the styles of New York City, Tanyka is set on becoming a fashion designer. This summer she has the opportunity to start developing her own portfolio at the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Fashion Design and Styling

My summer was excellent! Why, you ask? I was granted the wonderful opportunity to attend the FIT Summer Live program. The program consisted of 3 weeks of intense classes focused on fashion design and fashion fabric styling. I learned so much at this program and gained life long friends. Each day was something new and exciting and I have developed so much. This was a wonderful experience and I'm so grateful to Wishbone for making this possible for me!

Learning New Skills

While attending FIT’s summer program, I intend to learn new skills in designing apparel and learn more about the competitive fashion industry. I am beyond excited to meet new people who share the same interests as me. My main goal that I’ve set for myself is to be open-minded and ready to learn everything new in this field.
